It is a lovely situation and the village is really great. Nice for walks along the Rhine. There is a really awesome, family run restaurant n th village where they serve their local wines and cheese and sausage platters. We ate there both nights we were in Unkel.
When we checked in the receptionist was not very friendly. Also, when you book, you have to pay in advance and it is not refundable should you have to cancel for any reason.

The room had direct access to a terrace, and the hotel's location by the river was convenient, with Germany nearby and a Culver's for quick bites close by.

This is a super hotel in very charming village and beautiful part of Germany. We were very impressed by the decor, all extremely well designed, the colours perfectly matching and the finish was increadible. We travelled around the world for many years but have never before seen a hotel where everything was so perfect and yet so pleasing and homely at the same time. Very impressive indeed and much recommended.

The location was beautiful close to the stop for the K-D ships on the Rhine. The staff I encountered were extremely helpful and very amiable. I had high-class and great-sized room here with beautiful view, direct access to terrace plus sofa🙂

Indulge in the delightful cuisine at the riverside restaurant, where regional creations are served featuring the freshest produce. The dishes are so exquisite, they could easily compete on a MasterChef level!
Limited outdoor breakfast seating.

Beautiful location. Staff who check me in is very friendly. Wonderful dinning experience with view of the Rhine and breakfast is just as delish. Opening my bedroom window lead to a beautiful outdoor garden with water fountain and flowers. Will come back here again if I have a chance. So relaxing.
A small town. Can finish seeing everything in a day or less.
